Praa Sands is one of Cornwall’s best kept secrets, a long unspoilt fine sandy beach with low tide rock pools at each end of the beach, surrounded by beautiful cliffs and coastal paths, stunning sunsets and seaside scenery. Praa Sands is a fully lifeguarded, blue flag beach, the surf is very often excellent, and is probably the premier south coast surf venue. When there isn’t any surf there are wonderful coastal paddle tours along the surrounding cliffs. Whether you are a keen surfer, a coastal rambler, golfer, climber or someone who would rather be reading a good book and enjoying the view, Praa Sands is an ideal holiday venue, both summer and winter, an unspoilt gem away from the tourist trail. Walk out of your apartment, across the green and straight on to the pale sandy shore, taking in the beauty and quiet of an unspoilt beach.

Praa Sands, on the south coast of Cornwall, is perfectly situated to offer a peaceful unspoilt setting with easy access to all modern amenities in travel and communications. Clipper Cove is seven miles from Penzance a town with an eclectic mix of art studios, elegant historic buildings, well-stocked shops and award winning restaurants. The town has a main line station that connects directly with London Paddington and the north of England - it is also on the main A30 trunk road that takes you in and out of Cornwall.
Helston, six miles away, is an ancient market town and gateway to the Lizard Peninsula. Hayle also six miles away, has a new, easily accessible out of town retail development together with another beautiful beach stretching for 3 miles to Godrevy Lighthouse. Praa Sands sits between two other desirable beach locations, Prussia Cove and Mullion Cove, like Praa they are unspoilt and perfect for walking, swimming and sunbathing. Praa Sands is also a short distance from Porthleven, a picturesque fishing village, which has excellent restaurants and is known as a world class location for experienced surfers.
Ideal for those who enjoy and value their leisure time, Clipper Cove is perfectly placed to take advantage of the wonderful outdoor opportunities that exist in this part of Cornwall. Great surf and surf hire facilities are on your doorstep along with the coast path and spectacular scenery - Praa Sands golf course is only minutes away. For those who prefer a bit of history Pengersick Castle, a medieval tower, is a short walk away and there are plenty of stories about the wrecking and smuggling that took place at the bay until the 1700s. On the beach front there is a great restaurant/bar with views over the ocean, a surf shop and small cafe.

The open-plan living area is a great place to relax and enjoy the sea views. The kitchen has fitted Neff fridge, freezer, dishwasher, double oven and hob, there is a separate utility room with washing machine and dryer. The master bedroom is enormous (ideal for your yoga workout) with king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second double bedroom is also en-suite and the twin bedroom is opposite the large family bathroom, with bath and shower.
Latest ground source heat pumps run the under floor heating and hot water system, making the Penthouse also an ideal winter holiday venue. There are creatively-landscaped gardens and amenity spaces around Clipper Cove, with plenty of exotic plants such as palms that thrive in this southerly area of Cornwall. The Penthouse has two private parking spaces with remotely operated, retractable bollards for security. For your convenience there is a video entry system allowing access to your family from the comfort of your apartment.
